Easy to use and economical, our Organic Preemie Prefolds are just wonderful and a perfect for solution
for tiny babies.

Small and lightweight, they can be easily folded to fit even micro preemies.

These prefolds are the same fabric, weight and dimensions as traditional DSQ (Diaper Service
Quality) prefolds.

Made from "old fashioned" soft, absorbent and durable birdseye weave fabric that is organically grown and processed in the United States, then woven and sewn
in the USA by work at home moms and grandmas.

Why we like this diaper:
* Wonderfully soft and absorbent.
* Trim and lightweight means less bulk between little legs.
* Very soft and the more you wash them, the softer they become!
* Make great inserts for pocket diapers, burp cloths , etc. once baby outgrows them.

How they're made:
~ These are 2x5x2 prefolds.
~ 2 outer layers of unbleached organic cotton birdseye.
~ 5 layers of unbleached organic cotton birdseye in the middle panel.
~ Fits babies 4-10 lbs.

Washing & Care:
Diapers should be washed and dried 3-5 times before using to remove the natural oils and waxes. Use 1/4 the recommended amount of detergent, no bleach or fabric softeners. Your prefold diapers will arrive flat and somewhat stiff. After washing and drying, the diapers will quilt and soften. Expect an approximate shrinkage of about 20-25%.

The most economical and versatile way to cloth diaper, prefolds are rectangular with extra layers sewn in the middle. They are absorbent and can easily be adjusted to fit any size or shape baby. You can add doublers to increase absorbency. Fasten with pins, "Snappis"
(See Diapering Accessories) or simply fold & lay inside a cover.

What kind of covers should I use with prefolds?
Snug fitting covers work best with prefolds. Covers with leg gussets will hold leaks and messes much better. Newborns will use 4-6 covers per day.
We recommend Bummis Original, ImseVimse wool & organic cotton covers.
