Fabric contents:
~ Diapers are 4x8x4 prefolds made of unbleached 100% organic cotton.
~ Covers are PUL, polyester and nylon.
~ Flushable liners are 100% viscose rayon, a fiber derived from natural sources.
~ Stay Dry Liner: 2 layers of terry (not organic) PLUS a layer of nylon mesh.
The mesh will wick moisture away from baby and make clean-ups easy too.

Washing & Care: Easy, detailed laundry instructions and tips included in the kit.

Is this kit all I need to diaper full time?
Yes, if you plan to wash every day and a half at first. Keep in mind that newborns will require 10-12 diaper changes a day and use a few more covers because of the liquid messes.
We recommend an additional 12 diapers and 3-4 more covers. Then you can do laundry
every third day and have an extra on hand for burp cloths, etc.

More about Prefold Diapers:
The most economical and versatile way to cloth diaper, prefolds are rectangular with extra layers sewn in the middle. They are absorbent and can easily be adjusted to fit any size or shape baby. You can add doublers to increase absorbency. Fasten with pins, "Snappis"
(See Diapering Accessories) or simply fold & lay inside a cover.

What kind of covers should I use with prefolds?
Snug fitting covers work best with prefolds. Covers with leg gussets will hold leaks and messes much better. Newborns will use 4-6 covers per day.
We recommend Bummis Super Brite, Bummis Whisper Wrap, ImseVimse wool & organic cotton covers and Blue Cloud organic wool covers.
