Solid Wood Inverted Arch Bed Frame by Pacific Rim
Made with solid maple that is grown in managed forests in
the Pacific Northwest, the crib is crafted using the traditional
method of mortise and tenon joints throughout.
To highlight the natural beauty of this distinctive hardwood,
each piece is hand rubbed with a special toxin free finish,
making a safe and healthy nest for a good night’s rest.
2 styles are available:

Extra-Firm Wood Slat Upgrade: Recommended for natural rubber and futon mattresses. Untreated wood slats with jute webbing add support. Reduces gaps between slats to approximately 1.5-inches (standard slats have 3.5-inch gaps between slats). No glues. This upgrade is not needed for innerspring mattresses.
Slat Height Option (not available on box spring version):
The standard height from the floor to the top of the slats is approximately 14-1/2". This leaves approximately a 1/2" to 3/4" lip from the top of the slats to the top of the side rail (This lip keeps your mattress from sliding off the frame). As an option, you may choose to lower the slats by approximately 2", leaving you with 12-1/2" from the floor to the top of the slats, and approximately a 2-1/2" to 2-3/4" lip from the top of the slats to the top of the side rails. This option allows the mattress to sit deeper in the frame, and works especially well for taller mattresses (standard mattresses are generally 8" tall).
Extra Center Support Legs (Full, Queen and King Beds Only):
The standard Pacific Rim platform bed frames are solidly built and quite sturdy. The standard Full and Queen Size beds have a center rail that runs under the slats from the front to the back of the beds and provides extra strength and support to the frame.
Optionally, though not necessary, you may add one or two extra Center Support Legs (extra fee) for placement under the center support rail on the Full or Queen beds. The King beds come standard with 2 Center Support Rails so you may add up to four extra Center Support Legs (two per each Center Support Rail). The Center Support Legs add additional support and strength to the frame and is a platform bed requirement by some mattress manufacturers.
UNDERBED DRAWERS come fully assembled with sliding dovetail joints. These free-standing drawers roll easily on straight-line casters.
Drawer Dimensions: 24" Wide x 9" High x 25" Deep (front-to-back)
This purely nontoxic finish is a propietary blend developed by Pacific Rim specifically for use on the furniture they created. It contains: Hope's 100% pure tung oil, Recochem boiled linseed oil (from flax seeds), Varathane interior (oil-based polyurethane. Varathane is used as a drying agent and for extra scratch guard protection). Once the finish is dry, it is inert and no off gassing occurs. As added scratch protection, the finish used for Pacific Rim case goods includes an addition of liquid beeswax. Also available "Unfinished" (cost is the same).
