The buntings are fully lined with soft wool fleece and have an outer layer of organic cotton flannel fabric.

A convenient velcro closure opens up the front and there's a center split for safety strap in stroller.

Please don't use this in the car seat, but it's great for the stroller and keeping baby warm at home now that we've turned our thermostats down!

Wool has become a year-round mainstream nursery item. In the summer babies stay cool and dry when they are on wool because of natural air circulation through the fibers. In addition, wool absorbs perspiration and moisture more than any other material. Of course, wool also keeps babies warm in cool weather. Pure lambswool soothes and comforts baby with a soft, swaddling effect, reduces stress and restless movement, and promotes sleep. Wool fibers also limit the growth of harmful bacteria and are naturally fire retardant. It's hard to get all of these properties in one fiber!

Our SnuggleWool™ blankets and buntings are made from 100% pure, fine wool from the Merino sheep in Australia and New Zealand that has been hygienically scoured and treated to allow frequent machine washing and drying. The lamb's wool is sliver knit onto a POLYESTER backing (so it can be machine washed). Made this way, the fleece retains all of the natural qualities of sheepskin (including absorption of moisture vapor, softness and cushioning) without requiring that the animal give its life.
